Kelowna, Canada – October 24, 2016 – Discovery Air Fire Services (DAFS) will be attending Wildland Fire Canada 2016 (WFC) taking place October 24-28. WFC is a conference focused on building Canada’s resilience to future wildfires. The conference looks to achieve this through four main themes: (1) anticipating change, (2) designing resilient fire management systems, (3) defining and managing resilient landscapes, and (4) planning smarter, safer, resilient communities.
